As long as I can remember, I have always liked bears. I had a good size collection of them growing up, but slowly got rid of them when I got married and moved in with my husband. I ended up giving them to friends who had kids, resale shops or people I knew who collected bears no matter if they had the room to do it or not. I know I ran out of room quickly.
I have never been a collector of Anne Geddes dolls, but I do think they are so adorable. I did however buy the Anne Geddes Bear for my daughter about 2 years ago, mostly because I thought the bear was cute and she loves bears like me.
Give a bear a hug
The Anne Geddes Bear stands 9 inches tall, and when sitting is 7 inches in height. The bear won't stand on her own though. I got Jordan the caucasian baby, dressed up as a bear. The baby has a cute smile and a cute chubby face, with beautiful blue eyes, and dimples in her cheeks. Anne Geddes Bear is a light, fluffy brown and has darker brown ears and feet. Besides the baby's face and hands, the whole thing is soft and cuddly. The Anne Geddes Bear is beautifully made and filled with plastic beads and stitched up wonderfully, so you don't have to worry about it falling apart and the beads posing a choking hazard. I think the Anne Geddes Bear is just adorable, if I had the room, I would buy a few of the dolls myself. Some of them are just so darn cute.
Jordan and Mrs. Bear
When I first bought the Anne Geddes Bear for Jordan, she wanted nothing to do with it. She said it was cute and never played with it, until now.
In the past few months Jordan has really taken a liking to baby dolls and pretending to be mommy to them. I think she is getting ready for her baby sisters arrival in April and practicing on her dolls. Besides the Anne Geddes Bear, she carries her other dolls around, rocks them, feeds them, puts diapers on them, puts them to sleep, talks to them and tells everyone to keep it down, because her baby's are napping. She likes to dress up her Anne Geddes Bear in doll clothes and sometimes gets into the baby's clothes I have put away and likes to dress the bear up in those.
The Anne Geddes Bear is very durable and machine washable. Jordan got food all over it and after washing, it was still together and still fluffy and cuddly as always. The face and hands are easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

I would recommend the Anne Geddes Bear to anyone who loves Anne Geddes dolls or bears. With her delicate face and cuddly soft body, she is sure to warm anyones heart.
