The Bottom Line: Though I love the scent I do not see me purchasing due to skin issues.

For Christmas this past year I was given a set from The Body Shop consisting of Vanilla Spice Bath melt, Vanilla Spice Body Butter, and Vanilla Spice Shower Gel. I really liked the body butter and the bath melt. However I have mixed feelings about the shower gel.
The Body Shop Vanilla Spice Shower Gel comes in an 8.4 oz. see through brown plastic bottle with gold flip top cap. The vanilla is a back drop to the wonderful spice scent. The cinnamon and nutmeg scents are very pronounced in this shower gel. The Vanilla Spice scent is part of The Body Shop's seasonal line. Since this is a seasonal scent it runs $12. Which is $2 more than what you pay for regular shower gels that run $10.
If you use this shower gel with a pouf you will get a lot of lather with just one squirt. However if you do not use a pouf there is a light lather, but you have to use more of the shower gel.

Water, sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, polysorbate 20, PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, benzyl benzoate, eugenol, limonene, benzophenone-4, citric acid, disodium EDTA, coumarin, cinnamal, denatonium benzoate, linalool, citronellol, citral, isoeugenol, benzyl alcohol, geraniol, caramel
I am not sure if there is something up with my skin lately or what,but I have had mixed results with this body wash. I will go a few days where this wash does not leave my skin tight, itchy, or irritated in any way. Then just a few short days later this shower gel leaves my skin tight and dry feeling.
I love the scent of this shower gel and that the scent is left on my skin for hours after I have washed with it. I just wish I knew why at times this had no affect at all on my skin and other times my skin was left dry and tight. Though I do like this shower gel I do not see me purchasing it because of the mixed reactions on my skin.
