Pros: Exterior Design, BLURAY Capability, HD (compatable with laptops), Controller able to control everything, quiet
Cons: HD size, No rumble, too many updates, poor games library as of now, etc.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this system, but if you cannot get this one, then definately buy the 80GB, because it comes with even more things that will make you happy.

| dubbedout's Full Review: Sony PlayStation 3 (20 GB) Black Console |
I bought this when it was still in store shelves and such. I thought it would be a better investment than a 60GB at the time so I just had to get it. I noticed there was no wifi built into the console, and the games library for this console did not have anything to interest me. Although I did buy Ridge Racer 7, and I played that numerous times. I feel I am more hooked up to my XBOX360 (Premium 20GB console), because it has great games such as HALO 3, Project Gotham Racing 4, and other "Only on XBOX" titles. Talking exterior of the refined product of Playstation, I like the sleek lines on the console itself and it's glossy exterior coating seems nice, but it is delicate at the touch. Dust constantly piles up on the system, so you will be dusting quite a lot. Another nice feature is that the Hard Drive is detatchable, but it takes a bit of time to get it off, and you can slide in a laptop Hard Drive also. The system also, is not at all that loud, and while the fans are running.. they dont make that much noise to distract you while playing. Also, many consumers and I like how no disk drive comes out, you just simply slide the disk into the console. The front of the PS3 has 4 USB ports for whatever you need to plug in such as an iPod, or anything else that activates via USB. About the SIXAXIS controller... I do not like how it feels like a cheap controller and is completely weight lifted from the last models. I like the middle PS button to turn the system on, off, etc. When opening the box, you notice everything is nicely packed in as it should be, but there is no HD wires for the system. I like that it plays bluray movies, and that it's the cheapest bluray system on the market right now. The movie quality seems really nice, and the controller controls everything such as playing, pausing, fastforwarding, rewinding, skipping chapters, etc. I do not like that the controller that comes with the console "SIXAXIS" is not rumbled, that does not give the full game experience in my perspective. I think the console could use a little more touch ups, and updates come fast for the system, so you will be constantly updating the system, otherwise you cannot go to the playstation store online, or browse internet. However, updates come packed with new things, and the most awaited thing coming for the PS3 is HOME, that is an online community. Overall, the system is very nice, and it does have plenty of games coming out over the next couple years, but there are some more things that could be added such as wifi, but since the system is discontinued we wont see that coming.. also, rumble could be added to the SIXAXIS controller, and they could make the HD easier to slide out without the hassle of unscrewing screws. Moreover, I want Sony to add more previous Playstation console games to the Playstation Store which can be freely downloaded. I think it is time for Sony to give us consumers a little something free once in a while that is a full game. Anyway I would recommend this console if you are interested in buying it from ebay or such, but you will rarely find it on store shelves. If you are completely interested in wanting everything in your console, then I suggest you buy the new 80GB PS3. I however, think there is one console above this one, and that is the XBOX360 from my opinion. The XBOX360 has better games, I think their online service is better also, The controllers are nice and small and have rumble technology built in, and that the premium console comes with HD wires for an incredible gaming experience. I could add more to the list, but that's enough for now.
