I just finished replacing my old Sprint pcs cellphone to the Sanyo SCP-4000. I used to use a Sony 1101 that was real reliable but it was time to get something smaller and lighter. After researching pretty much all the Sprint phones, the Sanyo got my attention. I never in recent years had bought a Sanyo product thinking that Sanyo was on the bottom of the barrel. To my surprise, I found out that 2 leading consumer magazines put Sanyo as the #1 electronics manufacture when it comes to reliability. This totally made me decide on the Sanyo. When I picked it up and used it, I bought it. The phone is super light, very slim and the reception is better than I expected. This phone boasts an incredible number of features that would make it more expensive. Also the internet browser feature is pretty cool even though I dont use it much. Overall for all its great features, I highly recommend it. It is definitely the most excellent cellphone that I have owned.
