manky's Full Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (Platinum) for Windows
Roller Coaster Tycoon is great, and this only adds to it's flare! After continual use of the original game (minus this expansion pack) you begin to note some attributes that could be quite helpful. Such as being able to choose the color of the umbrella you sell, different food stands, and possibly more rides. You begin to realize how and what might be able to enhance your parks... then along comes Corkscrew Follies to do just that.
This addition enables you to dozens more scenarios (that are much m0ore challenging as well), additional pre-made coasters, different coaster types, various food and souvenir stands, and more. Now you can designate a specific type of music to play at each individual ride. You can choose what color your umbrellas and hats sell as, as well as adding many more possibilities to each ride (different track types, car types, etc.)
The next best thing is that when you install the expansion, you can run the whole game off of the newer CD. So you can pass along the original version the family or friends, and share the addiction!
