I have to have Lip Color at most of my day. So when I seen all the information on Revlon Colorstay Lip Color, I thought I have to try it, it looks like the Lip Color that we made for me.
I like My Lip Color to stay on my Lips and not on my Coffee Cup or clothes or Food. I like to be able to kiss my kids good bye for school without them wearing lipstick too. I like my lips to remain somewhat moist from the lip color at least for a few hours, depending if I am drinking or eat.
I thought when I bought Revlon Color Stay Lip Color that this is what I would have.............I was wrong.
I like my lip color on the darker side. My choice for Lip Color was Wine Color # 19. It is a nice pretty shade and really looked great when I applied it.
It did come off alittle bit after first applying it. But not to much. It also did not come off on my coffee cup as alot of my other lip colors have. So I really liked it for this reason.
But I noticed that after about 2 hours, My lips were very dry, almost chapped feeling and the lip color was no longer smooth, but more like Spotty and flaking. My Lips looked and felt dry and terrible.
I would re-apply it many times during the day. It is not at all what they show in their ads.
I would not recommend this Lip Color for the reasons above but also because it is very costly Lip Color. It is about 6.99 to 8.99 depending on where you shop.
Summary:
Revlon Color Stay Lip Color does stay on But needs to be re-applied every few hours.
Once the first little bit comes off after application, it stays on your lips and not on everything else. But become dry and spotty in color on your lips.
Comes in Lots of different colors and the colors are great.
Easy to apply, covers in nice shape stick and clicked shut and will not open in your purse or makeup bag.
Lasts for 2 months with regular daily use.
Can be costly. Not hard to find. Almost all stores carry this brand.
