I bought this high chair back in 1997 right before I had my son. I was at Toys R Us and looking around and I thought hmmm that's the one I like. My son is now three and I am using it for my youngest daughter who is almost 17 months old now.
Playskool's 1-2-3 High Chair is remarkable. It has many features that are fantastic. The features I like are as follows:
SIX different height positions.-We are now in the stage of using this chair under our table. I love this feature because during the summer we eat outside a lot. The different height adjustments make it convenient to use under any table indoors or outdoors.
THREE different tray adjustments.-My son was not as big as my daughter and I only remember having to use one position with him. On the other hand my daughter is larger and this feature makes it possible for her to sit and enjoy dinner without being uncomfortable.
SAFE as can be.- There is a rigid bar that makes it impossible for a child to slide out of the high chair. This bar is thin enough to if my daughter tries to climb out she will not hurt he legs with scratches.
STORAGE is right behind the chair.- There is a plastic area sort of has a vented look. I do not know if this makes sense the way I am trying to explain it. Any way the storage compartment is very convenient. I store bibs and wash cloths in mine. I also keep a book in there for times when I just sit my daughter in there and read to her.
EASY to clean.-The seat cushion can be removed to be washed. The tray is oversized and protected by microban (very easy to clean).
DURABLE-I wish I had the funds to have bought this chair when my oldest daughter was born. This chair has been through two of my children now. It is very sturdy and durable. I know if I was going to have another child (yea right) this chair would be used then.
This high chair may cost a few extra dollars, but the features are wonderful and the chair lasts. Playskool is a trusted name in my family, I hope they are or do become trusted in yours.
