Pros: cooling sensation
Cons: applicator puff
The Bottom Line: This powder is a great alternative to the more expensive department store brand Prescriptives. I would definitely buy it again.

| jennav15's Full Review: Physicians Formula Aqua Powder |
Originally I was looking at a loose powder by Prescriptives, which was much pricier. By chance I came across the Physician's Formula AquaPowder on display at the grocery store, of all places! The description caught my attention, as it sounded very much like the Prescriptives product I had tried on earlier that day at the department store. I decided for the price, (around $11) I'd give it a try.
There is a limited range of colors, but since I'm fair I went with the translucent shade - a good choice. There is a slight shimmer to it, and it really does give your face a nice cooling sensation. I would say the coverage is minimal, but if you don't like the chalky, mask-like look, then this powder is worth a try. I should add that my skin is very sensitive, and I'm pleased that this powder has not caused me to break out. This product is nearly identical to the Prescriptives cooling powder.
The only downside was the velour pouf applicator. It's hard to apply the powder evenly because its moist texture makes it stick to the pouf. Also, the package says not to store the pouf inside the powder container, so mine floats around the inside of my makeup bag and gets dirty.
