Congratulations on becoming exposed to Pacifico, but I do have to point out a few things to you.
1/ Rosarito IS NOT Mexico. It is a suburb of San Diego. The same is true about Tijuana and Ensenada.
2/ You don't have to obsess about Montezuma's Revenge when traveling in the Baja. That is more a mainland Mexico problem.
3/ The truly best time to enjoy a frosty Pacifico is not with either seafood or other Mexican comida, but on a hot afternoon. I especially recommend it for BBQ's near the beach on hot August days.
But then, you are a SoCal boy, so you ought to know all of this.
Shame on you!
Hasta la Fez siempre!

Dear andaryl: You have a nice, atmospheric review here. I suggest the next time you go to Mexico, take in Mazatlan. It is the oldest, most laid back resort on the West Coast of Mexico. Stay at the grand old hotels of La Ciudad Viejo, and eat large grilled red snapper with a couple of Pacificos for about $10 a couple.
Mazatlan is the Home of Pacifico, and in the bars of the old town, sell for 60 cents a bottle.
Cheers!
