Recently I had a problem with Box Elder Beatles and Lady Bugs. I was noticing that in my basement there were several bugs appearing at an alarming rate. I would eliminate these bugs on a daily basis. I was averaging removing roughly 15 Box Elders and 5 Lady Bugs per day. Each day more would just return. This went on for about two weeks and that is when I went to the Hardware Store to purchase bug spray. I did not have much knowledge in this area. There were several different types and Ortho had a bug chart recommended which type of spray to buy based on the bugs that were infecting your house.
I purchased the Ortho Home Defense and started to spray where I thought the bugs were coming into my house. I sprayed just on the outside at first. Almost instantly I noticed that there were not as many bugs entering my basement and most of the ones I found were already dead by the time I got to them.
After about three days I noticed that the bugs were starting to appear again. At this point I decided to spray around my whole house. I repeated this process for you three day in a row. At the same time I decided to spray the inside of my house (in the basement mostly).
It took about a week and a half of spraying both the inside and the outside of my house to get ride of all the bugs. I would spray everyday during that week and a half and went through two bottles of spray. My house is now completely bug free and it has been three months since I started using Ortho Home Defense. I still spray but only once a week now just on the outside of the house as a preventative.
I would highly recommended Ortho Home Defense. I noticed a huge difference the very next day. This is a very good product!
