This is a confusing airport and it might help to go into some of the layout. I have had to go from one side to the other and then back again just to get luggage and/or be picked up. It can involve A LOT of walking that some people may have trouble with.
Also, this has a VERY large number of really cool shops!

Hi,
We fly in and out of this airport at least 12 times yearly. I remember when it was originally called McCoy. We had to get off the plane and walk on the tarmac to the terminal. My sister would drive right up to the front of the building and wait to pick us up. It was so small but everything was in one place.
Now my sister hates to pick up passengers since since she sometimes has trouble finding a space or can't remember where she parked.
I love all the food eateries and stores. There are also so many flight choices from NY.
I thoroughly enjoyed your review.

we now ask everyone to fly into Tampa.
Great coming in and picking her up, but boy, a 12 hour delay going back to England. We stayed with her the whole time, and drove home at 1 in the morning.
Not my favorite, but a good review.
