Pros: Makes your old plastic molding/trim look new again with a nice shine.
Cons: Dust/Pollen magnet. Rain seems to make it rinse off leaving streaks.
The Bottom Line: If you have an older car with plastic molding or trim, this is the product to bring it back to life. Highly recommended for people with older cars.

| paarin's Full Review: Mothers Back To Black |
I own an older BMW that has a lot of plastic door trim and along the entire bottom. It is a pain to keep looking nice. I would always get a car wash, and the paint on the whole car would look awesome, but the plastic would be dull and still dirty looking.
I bought some of the Mothers Back To Black and applied it on all the plastic pieces, including the door handles, molding, side skirts, door trim and even parts of my side view mirrors. Its pretty watery so you need to be careful, and you have to make sure you apply it evenly. The trick is to get enough on the surface to cover the entire part, but have no excess.
Leaving excess is bad because this stuff never really seems to dry off. You need to make sure you wipe any excess off or else it will drip off and possibly leave streaks.
Once you apply it to the entire surface, the stuff looks great. Gives a nice shine, and brings life back even to my 10 year old car. The shine lasts for a while, but there are a few things that annoy me. Dust and pollen stick to it and pretty much never come off until it rains. And i have noticed that when it does rain, you end up with streaks where you applied the stuff. After a few rains, it really looks bad and you need to reapply.
Overall i would recommend this product for its intended application because it works as advertised. However, it is not a miracle worker, and will need to be reapplied after a few rainstorms, but you will probably need to wash the rest of your car at that point anyway.
Recommended:
Yes
Ease of Application: Average; takes some care to apply and shine well
