Shanah's Full Review: Robert Munsch - Love You Forever
I received this book when my daughter was born back in 1996. A friend of the family bought it for me and for a while it sat on the bookshelf collecting dust. Then one day my daughter picked it out when it was time for bed and I began reading it to her. I was a little put off when every other page said the same thing, over and over and over. But heck, it grows on you. I can not tell you how many smiles I have gotten from my daughter while reading this book. She now knows most all the words to it and "reads" it with me as I go. At the end of the book when the son is rocking the mother. Ohh, the tears!! This part always gets to me. And watching the little granny crawl through a window to rock her grown son. Too funny!! I give it a thumbs up. A perfect book for a young child. And maybe, just maybe, if I raise my children right - they may rock me to sleep when I get older.
