The Bottom Line: This is my favorite type of Liquid Paper. If you write a lot by hand, make sure you have a bottle nearby!

It certainly has been a while since I have written a review on Epinions. I didn't realize until tonight that it has been nearly a year! Please accept my apologies. I will try to write at least one review every other month. Even if it is on something as small as Liquid Paper.
As a teacher, I have to write a lot of letters to parents and other faculty members. As the chairperson of the Art Department, I have a great deal of correspondence with administrators and other Art teachers. As the Art Director of the entire school district, I have an enormous amount of paperwork. And, we won't even touch the fact that I am Recording Secretary for the Union.
As you can imagine, I have a great deal of paperwork to do. I write most of it by hand as my first draft, then type up the items that must be typed. Sometimes, I just copy the handwritten notes for other teachers.
Believe it or not, I am not perfect. Often times, my brain thinks faster than my hand can write, and I end up with a lot of mistakes. However, Liquid Paper by Papermate makes me appear perfect. The Liquid Paper Smooth Coverage Correction Fluid is my favorite. (And, believe me, I have used many.)
I like the applicator. It's a small sponge tip instead of a brush. I have found that the brush types constantly get sticky and dry, which leaves clumps on papers. Not with this type. The sponge applicator tip allows you to both dot and spread the Liquid Paper without leaving any bumps or clumps. The final product is smooth, just like the paper was before you made the mistake.
Another great thing is that the dried Liquid Paper is very easy to write on. I have found that writing on other brands and types is very difficult. With Liquid Paper Smooth Coverage Correction Fluid, I know that I will always have a smooth surface to write on when it dries. It doesn't look messy in the least.
This liquid also dries very quickly. Of course, you can't touch it when it is wet. Otherwise, it smears and will cover other words that you don't mean to cover. It doesn't dry instantly, but it does dry quickly. So, be careful for about a minute. If you do get it on your skin, you're going to have to scrub a little harder than usual when you are washing your hands to remove it. It really stays on your skin.
You can find this version of Liquid Paper at any office supply store for less than $2. I usually pay $1.19 for mine at OfficeMax. This is a great item for people to have, especially if you write as much as I do.
