The Bottom Line: It's a bit more expensive than an average coffee maker, but if you're like me and HATE replacing things, it's a small investment worthwhile.
anae428's Full Review: Keurig Special Edition B60 Coffee Maker
Purchased Date: 10/28/09 Store of Purchase: Bed, Bath & Beyond This is a beautifully designed coffee maker. Setup is quick and simple, brewing coffee is fast, and it feels so good to have variety and gourmet quality at your fingertips with NO clean-up. This Model compared to other Keurig Models (and why I chose this model over the others): Keurig has a few "single-cup" models out there. It's wise to do your homework so you don't end up disappointed. The least expensive 89 dollar model is the "Mini-Keurig." I could go on forever about the functions, but I'll cut to the chase and give you what the deal breaker for me...The mini model only brews an 8-ounce cup of coffee! What coffee lover only wants an 8-ounce cup of coffee!? Not me! Moving on to the next model... The 99 dollar "Elite Model" (the most popular model)allows an 8-ounce brew and a 10 ounce, which is a little bit better. The water reservoir is larger, there's a removable drip tray, and an auto shutoff feature. Because of the great price for exactly what I needed, this was the one I almost bought... Then I saw the "Special Edition." The Special Edition offers a 6, 8, or 10 ounce brew, which is great if you want a really STRONG cup of coffee (6-ounce) or a milder Americana cup (10 ounce). It has more bells and whistles than the above 2 models, my favorite being the blue backlit LCD display, which looks great in the evening. It offers quiet-brew technology, a generous 48 ounce reservoir, and stylish chrome accents. For only $30 more than the model just underneath it, I thought it offered enough to make the difference. Although all of the models are wonderful, I'm glad I didn't settle since I really wanted this one. You'll need "k-cups" for these, which can be found at retailers like Wal-mart, Target, Macys, and Bed Bath & Beyond. There's varieties such as different blends of coffee, tea, cocoa, capuccinos, and lattes. All you do is place the k-cup in the Keurig machine, and the Keurig does the rest. It'll brew your coffee in about a minute. My research is limited since I just purchased my Keurig. I can't tell you if it broke, I can't tell you if it malfunctions in a few weeks, but I can tell you that so far, so good! I am absolutely pleased with my Keurig in every way. I'll update this post if there are any problems.
