It doesnt get any better than Johnson's Bedtime Bath for a baby wash. I am so in love with this product not just for use on my baby girl but for myself as well. It has a lavender scent that is sweet and floral but soft and not over powering.
For BabyI learned real quick that my little girl would go to sleep and stay asleep longer if I gave her a bath right before bedtime so I thought Id try one of those bedtime bath products. Im pretty brand loyal so Johnsons was the obvious choice.
I use it all over hair and body for baby and it cleans away that formula smell and leaves her smelling so pretty. I dont know how much it really has an affect on relaxing her since her bath has always relaxed her but she does seem to enjoy the smell when I put it near her nose. I use it for all baths, not just at night time because I just cant resist having such a pretty smelling baby girl. If I had a boy I might not use during the day and only at nighttime because it does have a very feminine smell to it.
The no more tears formula is great because I am prone to getting water in her face no matter how hard I try not to and it never bothers her one bit. It washes off clean and I use it for her hair and body. Almost every Johnsons product is great but this is by far the best in our bathroom.
For Me
When I had my daughter I stopped using all perfumes. I figured they were too strong for her small sensitive little nose and Ive noticed that when other female friends and family members hold her who were perfume she ends up smelling strongly of whatever their wearing. I dont think babies should smell like Chanel no. 5 or Obsession so no perfume for me.
I tried this out for myself and am just as hooked as a body wash for me as for her. Plus it saves room and money having a great body wash for her and me all in one. I love the smell of lavender and it lasts all day. It also lathers great and works wonderfully for a shaving cream.
I bought the 15 oz size for around $4.50 but it also comes in a few different sizes. Johnsons makes a lavender bath wash for adults but really this one works great and I dont see the need to buy two different bottles of what is essentially the same thing just minus a few ingredients in baby wash.
I got stuck out at my grandmothers for a week while my car was in the shop. I was an hour from home so I asked that we just go to the store to buy a small container of this for baby girls baths. They were out of the small and I didnt want to buy a huge one since I had an almost full bottle at home. I made the mistake of buying a store brand from ShopKo. It was way to strong and had that sting you find when you first spray perfume. I had to water it way down just to use on my girl because I was sure it was just too much for her. Johnsons has strong scent but its so much smoother and doesnt have that sting to it.
