This Jabra winder is great. I throw it in my back pack and have no worry about the cord getting tangled. The cord is long enough that you can have it clipped to your belt or on the seat next to you in the car. I liked my Jabra earboom, but I love my Jabra winder! The retraction can be slow at times if its been bunched up but I have used this for about a year now and have had no real problems. The only problem I ever have is the ear gels pop off occasionally in the backpack from pushed around with so much junk. but the normal one did that too. The fact that the earbud piece clips on to the retraction unit seems to protect it more. My first earboom with out the winder actually broke from being thrown in the bag, the plastic casing of the earpiece snapped apart and the small wires in the earpiece riped out of the solder connections.
Again I love this thing. So does my friend he tried to steal it from me. :-)
