bfgrd10's Full Review: Vivendi Mastercook Deluxe 6.0 Full Version for PC ...
My Sundays used to be spent going through sale adds, coupons, and cookbooks planning meals for the week. I try to be an organized shopper, but with a family, house and job, often I would not have time for all of this, and I spent a lot of extra money because of it.
Then my daughter introduced me to Mastercook as a gift. Now I go through the store adds, pop in the ingredients that are on sale, and up come my meals for the week.
It is a little more complicated than that, but not much.
I can choose all criteria I want for my meals, low fat, low carb, low salt, whatever is important in nutrition.
Of course some of the recipes are wonderful, and some my family hasn't cared for, but that's the way with any new recipes.
I get a printed shopping list and am able to cross reference this with ingredients I have on hand quickly and efficiently.
I have version 6.2 by Valusoft, a software company I had never heard of before but I am quite pleased.
I save about 2 hours a week using this program. Time is a valuable asset to me so this really makes the software worthwhile.
I probably save about $50.00 a week by going shopping with an organized, detailed shopping list. For me, this curbs impulse buying. Who can't stand to save a few bucks each week off of their grocery bill.
Mastercook has proven to be one of the best gifts I have ever received.
