Furbster's Full Review: Encore Fun & Skills Pack 1st & 2nd Grade: Vehicle ...
My friend saw this game in the store and encouraged me to go take a look at it. So I headed over there that evening and picked it up for about 20 bucks or so. I know it's on sale many places for 10 now.
I got home and installed it immediately. I installed it for myself, not a child. I'm an adult - kinda. More like a big kid and I just love Furby!
Installation was easy and self explanatory, I had no problems getting it in and working correctly.
The first thing you do when you start up is you go to a choose a Furby screen. You get to choose his colors, size and name. You can have 3 different Furbys. You can always change them. You must choose a primary Furby to play with to go forward.
Next you go into a room (the Clubhouse) where you can tickle him and feed him and pet him, he makes very cute sounds and the animation is just adorable! You can change things about the room he's in and click on other places that will take you to different area's of the game. There are also easter eggs in this game, just like the real Furby. I won't spoil it though :) Hint: Check the scrap book.
You can also go to another area where you can play games with Furby. All the games have 5 levels and each gets more difficult as you move up levels.
The games you can play are:
-In The Clouds: You fly through the clouds, collect various items and collect points. You are to avoid obvious items, but pick up others, such as a key that will allow you to go to a bonus room.
-Furby Fest: You must get the Furbys into the roller coaster before the time is up. Simple? Pretty much, except each level gets harder and you must put the Furbys into the ride by whatever the level calls for (level 1 is by identical groups, level 2 is by manes and ears, etc.). The hardest is by eye color, the last level. Things go over the screen to make it harder and the Furbys are talking and moving. The roller coaster, when it takes off, does FUNNY things.. should keep an eye on it :)
-Club Furby: You are in a night club ad your Furby is dancing under disco balls. You have to keep Furby dancing by clicking on the small disco balls in the same order that the larger disco balls appear. Do this before time runs out and watch your Furby boogie down!
-Furby To The Rescue: This one is more challenging then the others. You must lead adult Furby through a maze and pick up a key (to the door at the end) and a Furby baby along the way. Creatures and other distractions will try and keep you from succeeding. Oh and you must do it before time is up. You can pick up special items that do various things as well. At the end of each round you will see the adult standing with all the baby Furbys around him (this is oh soo cute!) and it will add up your score.
Overall I find this game to be very very cute! It's not the most challenging, but it's meant for children to enjoy. In all honesty my friend (age 24), my sister (age 19) and myself (age 23) all sat around my computer for over 2 hours just playing with this thing in one sitting. The roller coaster game by far was the cutest and cracked us up the most!
The graphics make this game the best... Furby is just so cute, this game really shows off how adorable he is!
