My daughter loves her Baby Alive!

Durability:  
Pros: entertaining for young kids. helps them with responsibility. helps young kids to talk.

Cons: my main con is the price and the leaky diapers

I purchased the doll for my daughter's second christmas. being an only child, i thought the livliness of the doll would be very entertaining for her. the doll talks to her, she talks back to her. she falls asleep with the doll and when she wakes up she's looking for her. she loves feeding the doll the bottle and the food. i just don't like her always taking the diapers off.i do have a few gripes with the doll. her diapers are easy to come off and they leak. the price was a lil high. her lipstick faded within 2 weeks. her hair is coming out and all knotty. her face gets dirty real quick. the batteries don't last very long.
