| ilmago's Full Review: Harp Lager |
Harp has always been one of my favorite lagers. Last night I decided to pick up a 6 pack and had to got to 7 stores before I found some. I brought it home and poured a bottle into a mug and took a sip. Something wasn't right and I was immediately suspicious, remembering what happened to Fosters Lager. I put on my reading glasses and checked the bottle and, sure enough, it was brewed in Canada and tasted like all other Canadian swill, tasteless and watery. Another great tradition ruined by letting the Canadians, who couldn't brew a good beer to save the queen, take over brewing for US import. "God almighty" can anyone tell me where to get the real thing, ie brewed in Ireland?
