Pros: You get what you pay for. The machine operates efficently and quietly.
Cons: Need a better manual and the term fully automatic should be reviewed.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this machine to anyone with a minimal amount of laundry that needs a good washer in a small footprint.

| grumpy4090's Full Review: Haier XQBM22-C Top Load Washer |
I had been shopping for an apartment size washer for the last 6 months. This will be my second machine. The first, another brand I gave to a friend. After a lot of comparison shopping and learning what the limitations are of a less than full size washer, I decided to give the Haier a try.
All I can say is WOW! This machine is not for a family of 4 or will the drum hold a quantity of large items. If your looking to wash 3 or 4 shirts at a time, a weeks worth of socks or your unmentionables this machine will do the job nicely. If your single and have a minimal amount of laundry you'll be surprised to see how well this machine works.
I work outdoors in all sorts of weather and this machine gets my clothes clean. The secret of using this machine is to read the manual two or three times before you hook up or use anything. Don't expect it to handle loads like a full size machine and you won't be dissapointed. Think of this washer as a mini version (which it is.) Most of all, adjust the amount of soap, softner and bleach you use. I found that by using a tenth of the soap but just better than a regular cap of softner works best with my type of water and dirty clothes.
The end of cycle alarm scared the heck out of me. I thought I was going crazy until I realized it was the washer playing Jingle Bells. Nice touch if you can change the tune like we do with cell phones.
You can not store the hose's or electric cord but since when do you expect a VW Bettle to ride like a Coup De Ville, know what mean?
If I had anything negative to say it would be directed at the manual and marketing. The manual is vague in some areas and this washer is not a fully automatic unit. Lacking soap/softner/bleach dispensers and water temperature controls does in my opinion indicate a less than fully automatic unit by American standards and should be marketed as such.
On the other hand, your getting what you paid for and the machine operates efficently, quietly and as advertised. If my clothes could smile, they would.
