Pros: Pretty quiet and comfortable. Great dry and wet traction. Good looking.
Cons: Nothing so far (20,000 mi.)
The Bottom Line: Good all around tire with great wet/dry traction. One of the best all-season tires I have tried. Quiet, comfortable, reliable.

| joelamb7467's Full Review: Goodyear Assurance TripleTred Tire |
I purchased a 1996 Buick Park Avenue from my father-in-law about 6 months ago and it needed new tires...so the search began. I was looking for a high quality tire that would have good traction. I decided on Goodyear because they are a block from my house and I have a Goodyear card.
Well, I decided to go with Goodyear's top of the line Assurance tire because I believe in the saying "you get what you pay for." I also did a little research on the web, including epinions, and saw generally good reviews. Now I had to decide between the ComforTred and TripleTred. Since I was driving a nice new (to me) luxury car, I decided on the ComforTred for a comfortable, quiet ride. When I went in, they did not have them in stock, but did have the TripleTred. I figured I'd give them a shot, but was a little worried about some reviews saying that they provided a rough, loud ride.
When I drove away with my new tires on the car, I immediately headed for the freeway to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how normal the ride was. Actually a little quieter and smoother than the old Michelin's. The tires cornered really nice and felt "just right." A few days later it rained and I wanted to check out the "awesome" traction that is advertised. Sure enough, they handled great. When on the freeway, driving through standing water, there was absolutely no hydroplaning. On an older Camry of mine that had Goodyear's Aquatread tires, I would have hydroplaned. Not now.
I have put about 20,000 miles on the tires, and there is no uneven wear and all seems to be going great. I do rotate ever 2 oil changes (6000 miles) which probably helps.
With all that said, these are probably not performance tires. They are not winter tires. They do seem to be, however, great all-season tires that I would trust.
