Bedtime Doesn't leave us BLUE anymore!

Pros: Everyone loves Blue, helps ALOT at bedtime!
Cons: Blue could be alittle softer but my son doesn't seem to mind!

Our son who just turned two the week of Christmas is a die hard Blues Clues fan so anything with that adorable little blue dog always catches our eye in the stores. He also is one of those children that make "Bedtime" a dirty word! He fights every night not wanting to go to bed and when we spotted the Goodnight Blue right before Christmas we figured it was worth a shot and bought just one more present!
Well, let me tell you it is a definate HIT! The toy comes with an electronic storybook and an animated stuffed Blue. The pages of the book are a think plastic so they are VERY durable. On each page there is an opening where a blue button complete with a paw print shows through for your child to push. Each of the main characters of the Blues Clues show have their own page and say good-night in their own voice which my son loves. He squeals good-night to Steve, Mailbox, Salt, Pepper, Paprika and all the rest as he goes through the book.
On the final page of the book when you press the button you say good-night to Blue and the stuffed Blue reacts. She starts to snore and her eyes get heavy and she falls alseep. It is a wonderful way to get my little one to quite down, so he won't wake Blue. He loves to take her to his bed and lay down with her and before long he too is sound asleep! What a GREAT toy!! The book and Blue do not stay attached to work so it is nice that your child can just sleep with the dog. I do wish however that Blue was a little softer but it just hasn't seemed to bother my son one bit! He cuddles right up to his buddy Blue and off to dreamland he goes!
