I am currently enrolled in a class called "New Media Projects" and we have used several manual-type books concerning various software programs. All have been a disappointment except this one.

McAdams' set-up of the book is superb. I especially enjoy the visual screenshots, in addition to the text on each topic. The index is comprehensive and complete.

Although our class is using a newer version of Flash than the one in the current version of the text, I did not find it difficult to convert her directions.

For anyone who hopes to try Flash, I recommend McAdams' book. It is a great how-to on a complex and powerful program.
