| kc10driver's Full Review: Embassy Ste Hotel Anaheim-North Located |
Embassy Suites Anaheim-Disney is barely a mile from Disneyland. The huge suite rooms offer easy accommodations for a family of five, with plenty of room to move around...and for parents to have privacy from the kids. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel relatively new (built somewhere around 2001 or so). The free breakfast includes cooked to order eggs, omelets, pancakes and more. Lots of pastries and fruit. Not just plastic wrapped donuts and orange juice like some places. Free manager's reception in the evenings, including soft drinks, beer, wine and mixed drinks, plus snacks. Yes, FREE. There's a free shuttle from the hotel that runs twice an hour to Disney. Very easy to use. Much better than driving.
Breakfast for the whole family, plus free evening snacks and adult beverages was easily worth $40-$50 at the going local rate. With a King Suite (with separate twin sized sleeper sofa in adjoining room) going for about $125 with a military discount, you simply can't beat the quality for the price...especially in the Disney area.
Outdoor pool, game room and small gym with treadmill, stair climber and other small equipment. Restaurant and gift store in the lobby. A couple blocks away from a Target and grocery store. Lots and lots of kids around...best suited for families.
