| jc1523's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 8200 (8TWORH) PC Notebook |
I ordered a new Dell $2000. The first 8200 I received had a bad graphics card. The screen would melt after about 5 mins. They sent a replacement. I asked if the replacement could have 6 mos free MSN since I already have AOL and had a bad experience with Earthlink. The replacement came with Free AOL and Earthlink no MSN. I contacted Dell and was told:
"Thank you for contacting Dell Customer Care.
I apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
I understand that you would like to get free 6 months of MSN.
I have personally gone through your account and verified that
you indeed have free 6 months of AOL and not MSN.
The system you purchased is refurbished, means "as is" and that's
the way it was when it was being sold."
I am in shock to find out I ordered and paid for a new computer and they shipped me a rebuilt unit and charged me for a new computer. I love this laptop and it serves me well and I have no other issues. I feel like I've been raped without being kissed first.
