Pros: Goes like there's money in it, great battery life, case
Cons: It costs some money, replacement batteries are expensive too.
The Bottom Line: If you like things that work so well you grin using them, pick up this drill next trip to the power tool section.

I received this kit as a gift for my birthday last year. I've been doing a ton of work around my new house, bigtime renovations & such, but to tell you the truth it was a tool I never knew I needed. I will never go back to a corded drill again, unless I'm drilling through brick that is.
Quite simply, I'm going to limit this review to the pros and cons because I'm sure most other reviews on here give you the basics. It's a drill for crying out loud!
I'm very impressed overall. Material thinkness is no problem for this puppy. It'll take it. And the battery lasts a LONG time. Plus mine came with 2, so you have no excuses to run out of juice with the 1 hour charger. I've drilled through 2x4's screwed in long screws for vanities, countertops, ect without breaking a sweat. Power is simply not a problem. Also not a problem is weight and feel. Although it looks simple and crude, the 14.4's are well balanced and easy to hold. Sometimes simple really is better. No cushy grips, fancy handles here. But the design works, and is very compact. This is a nice feature for anyone, since it makes the drill easy to fit almost anywhere.
My only real gripe is with the keyless chuck, it sometimes lets the bit slip, but if you use hex-shank bits that will never happen. I also have heard this is a common problem with many keyless chucks, so it's probably really not "the DeWalt's Fault" haha.
Anyway, very good drill, worth the money. You can spend less, but you will not get such a great tool. I really love using it, and I always get it out for even the smallest job. Plus, above all, you'll look like a pro using it. DeWalt power tools have the serious bling factor. And you'll never loose them with that screamin' yellow color!
