Re: Well done (Reply to this comment)

Now that I re-read it, that sounds like I'm suggesting "fickle vagrancies" is someone else's phrase.
NO!
All I meant is that jankp's use of such an elegant phrase (original use, I'm sure) reminds me of my experience with books I keep meaning to get to. I suffer from fickle vagrancies, although I didn't have a phrase for it until jankp suggested one, for which I am grateful.

Dear jankp,
"Fickle vagrancies" sounds familiar, although my books aren't capable of turning so graceful a phrase. And your conjuring up the image of frosty books is just one of many nice touches in your review. Thanks for a recommendation I hope to be able to follow though on.
Best wishes,
Peter

You've gone and added another to my expanding reading list! This sounds like something I would LOVE - Especially the Indian related content - I loved the lady on the new gold dollar! "Bird Woman" was my favorite character in any novel for many, many years. I know I'll love this one, too. Thanks for a GREAT review - Gina

What a funny way to come across a new book the way you did! Sounds like your gamble paid off.
