Yep, we do go through a whole lot of coffee!
Interesting that you brought up the indicator light. It would come on around the three month mark when we lived in Northern Alabama, and it has yet to come on since we've moved to KC (7 months!). Interesting, but we've gone ahead an continued to "clean" it every 2 to 3 months - it does make a difference in the taste of the coffee.

product placement (Reply to this comment)
by pilarzmom, in Home and Garden
I noticed one night, too, this coffeemaker on "two and a half men" (not that I make a regular habit of watching that show - only reruns on late nite!)
I'm guessing you do drink a lot of coffee - I have to get the cleaning light to come on in 6 months or so of ownership.

and I was appropriately sipping a nice cup of java while reading it.
My son broke our Braun last week - we'd had it almost twenty years.
Stay caffeinated!

We go through more coffeemakers in this house.
They never seem to last.
Love all the features of this one and will buy this one for sure.
Thanks for great review. Angela
