Pros: THE SMELL!
Cons: Pomegranate seeds everywhere! Moisture and exfoliation are minimal.
The Bottom Line: The only reason I would tell you to buy this is because of the scent- but if you are looking for more- go elsewhere.

| bradshawcl's Full Review: Caress Tahitian Renewal Body Wash |
Like shampoo, I am a body wash junkie. I never stick with the same kind, and I am always open to a new brand or scent. My most recent purchase was Caress Tahitian Renewal Body Wash. Drugstore.com has the body wash priced at $5.79, but I paid $3.97 at Wal-Mart for an 18 fl. oz. bottle, plus I had a 70 cent coupon for this stuff, so I only paid $3.27. So, very well priced body wash here.
The bottle is very cute and curvy, as you can see from the picture. The color reminds me of something tropical, along with the tropical leaves pictured on the front. To dispense the wash from the bottle, flip the lid, turn over and squeeze the bottle. I find a small amount does a good job.
The body wash itself is the same color as the bottle, and it has pomegranate seeds in it, which you can see by looking at the gel body wash itself. It is pretty easy to lather, and the lather itself is a reasonable amount. It rinses off well also.
As for the scent- man, it is fabulous! It is really tropical, and it makes me feel like I am at the beach. The scent reminds me of Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion, and coconuts. It is very pleasing, but it does not leave a strong scent on your skin after using it- which is a bummer in my book, because I like something with a lingering scent.
What does Caress have to say? Here is an excerpt from drugstore.com:

The good, the bad, and the ugly:
The good:
Love the scent- it is like going on a beach vacation when I use it- really enthusiastic about it.
Good price- for an 18 oz. bottle only $3 something sounds good to me. Drugstore.com has it priced a bit higher, but Wal-Mart has it cheaper, and you can run across a coupon every now and then.
Really cute packaging- you can spot this bottle out in a crowd of other choices of body washes.
Makes a nice lather, and it is easy to rinse off and does not leave a residue. Also, did not cause me any adverse skin reactions.
Did I mention it smells good?
The Bad:
Really did not seem to give me any moisture, and the exfoliation was moderate. In fact, in the places where my skin was already dry, it made it seem drier.
The pomegranate seeds do not dissolve- so I find little red/coral colored seeds in the bottom of the tub after I have used it. Having said this- you could not use this as a bubble bath- seeds would be everywhere- plus the wash is a gel- so it probably would not make a good bubble bath. I wish you could use it as a bubble bath- it sure would smell nice.
Like I said before, this body wash does not leave a lingering scent- which is a downfall to me, because I like something that lingers.
The ugly:
Pomegranate seeds everywhere! You have to rinse out the tub because they get everywhere!
So, would I buy it again?
Probably not. Theres so much out there to try, and like I said before, I like to shop around when it comes to body washes. Not that I did not like it, but the pomegranate seeds everywhere was a turn off for me. Plus, I did not notice any moisturization, and the exfoliating was minimal. In fact, those dry spots I already have seemed a little drier than usual.
But like I have said 900 other times in this review- the scent is great! Thats the only reason I keep using it, and the only reason why I would recommend it to anyone. So, if you are just looking for a great scent, here it is!
