Pros: The only pro I can give is that I will soon be rid of them.
Cons: They are the worst people I have ever had a loan with, difficult and obnoxious.
The Bottom Line: I would suggest that you run as far and fast as you can away from ever having to do business with any branch of Caital One.

When Wachovia Bank (New Orleans) turned over their auto loans to Capital One my problems started. I make my payments at the first of the month by web payments through my bank (Chase). I found several months later I had "missed" a payment, which I found out later that I had made it BEFORE it was due, therefore Capital One puts the payment about against principal and counts your payment as not having been made. I complained about this but was told it was in the contract. I can't find it in the contract and they refuse to give me a copy of any contract I signed that stated this. I am about to pay off the dam truck to get away from Capital One entirely. I have, since then, made other payments too early and they are pulling the same thing again. Now, trying to pay off the truck they mention that they want me to pay a "early payoff" penalty and this again I refuse. I am unsure about how I am going to do this payoff and be rid of them. I have since checked with neighbors and friends and those that have had dealings with Capital One all indicate they dropped them as soon as they could, one indicating he seriously considered having his attorney ask they never contact him again. In all, I have yet to meet anyone say anything positive and I've looked.
