If you want the best Roast Duck in Chinatown this is the place. It can be ordered to eat in the restaurant or taken home. I usually prefer to take it out and eat it later.
The cashiers are kind of fast attitude (give me your order, oh you are not ready, I'll come back in 15 seconds, and so on)similar to a Kosher Deli.
If eating in, the restaurant has excellent Congee (rice porridge), very good Chow Fun (wide rice noodles) the beef is my favorite, also the crullers are very good.
One thing to order if you are eating there is the seasonal vegetables. They highlight the meal.
The waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. They speak english. The atmosphere (decor) is like a greasy spoon, but the food is miles above.
The prices are very good. There is usually a line, but it goes fast. The restaurant has quite a bit of bustle at the cashiers.
Best recommendations: Eat in and order Congee or Chow fun, side order of vegetables, and a cruller of course tea. When paying at the cashier, get either 1/4 or 1/2 duck and an order of Roast Pork to go. When you get home, put them in the fridge and eat them the next day. Heat them in your oven for 1/2 hour at 350-400 deg so the fat melts off. The skin is crispier.
