| packardhell1's Full Review: Audiobahn ALUM12 Car Subwoofer |
I have 3 of last year's model ALUM12 SoundQ sub...3 12's mounted in a box, 3/4" particle board...they're dvc's, 6 ohm per voicecoil...i have them running at a 4 ohm mono load running off an infinity kappa 202a pushing 600rms, 200 to each sub...i have each sub in a 1 cu ft box...not knowing about the brand, i was a bit reserved about it, but after hearing them, i'm very impressed...they're good for any kind of music, rock, rap, etc... but hit the best around 50hz...they hit lower than my orion xtr 15 dvc!! I've had them going on 1 1/2 years, played the crap outta them every day and they still play perfect...i also love the flexibility, mine are dvc 6 ohm per coil, so with 3 i can run 4 ohm mono or 1 ohm mono, whether i have a regular amp or a high current one...i'm very pleased with these subs and if these ever do wear out, i'll be buying audiobahn again....
