Pros: Decent flavor, filling, high protein, obviously low carb
Cons: If ICE cold, none. It's actually good.
The Bottom Line: A good product that aides in weight loss. Buy it, freeze it, drink it.

| bought_it_all's Full Review: Atkins Advantage Shake - Chocolate Delight |
I've been doing Atkin's diet now for about 4 weeks (9 pounds, thanks for asking), and have found, like many others, that there is a somewhat limited menu for the non-cooking professional. You've got salad, or lots of meat. But what can you eat for lunch without spending $8 every day at the deli? I tried this shake, and here's what I found...
Basic Facts
Calories: 170
Total Fat: 9g (irrelevant to Atkins)
Cholesterol: 15mg (or 5%)
Sodium: 170mg (or 7%)
Potassium: 680mg (or 19%)
Carbs: 1g (net carbs, for Atkins)
Protein: 20g (or 40%)
...plus a whole lot of vitamins and minerals
My Experience
I've tried other diet lunches (Slim Fast among them), and this one actually tastes good. Believe it or else. It has a silly amount of protein, is essentially a multi-vitamin in a can, and is filling. The single carb you will ingest will be worth the effort - I have one almost every day, and it feels almost like a full meal. There is only one catch: FREEZE IT! Either before you leave the house, or if you've got a freezer at work, make sure that this drink is extremely cold. I leave it in the freezer until the point where it is slushy (about 2.5 hours). Shake it (like a Polaroid picture... sorry) until your arm hurts. Stick in the straw and go to town. There is no significant aftertaste (mild, but not bad), and it's "good for you." I only advise that you never, ever try to drink this straight off the shelf. You'll be dead before you hit the ground.
That being said, I've also tried the Strawberry Supreme version of this meal replacement. It has 2 net carbs, and receives essentially the same review. Very palatable if ice cold. PLEASE NOTE: When I say "ice cold" I do not mean "served over ice." Ice itself will make this drink chunky and awful. You need to freeze the can. Don't say I didn't warn you.
The price in the market is about $10 per four-pack, but I advise that you go to a discount resaler, like Vitaminshoppe.com. I got a 12-pack of each flavor for about $21, a savings of $9. Only do this after you've tried a single can though. Be sure you like it first...
