| pinkskittle's Full Review: Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads |
At first I was quite excited to try these makeup removing pads. I mean, I didn't have to buy pads or cotton balls for it!
The Pros
-The pads are quite small, about 2 inches in diameter. Just enough room to remove makeup from both eyes.
-It removes waterproof mascara very easily.
-It claims to moisturize and conditions the eye area.
-Thimerosal free.
-Suitable for sensitive eyes (and contact lens wearers).
-Hypo-Allergenic
-100% Fragrance Free
-Non-Irritating
-Ophthalmologist Tested
-Clinically, Dermatologist and Allergy Tested
-100 pads came in my jar (although I got a jar with a 25% bonus) so it lasts over 3 months!
Cons
-The first half of the stack is a bit dry, might help shaking it up first.
-The second half of the stack is soaked with oil basically. I usually have to dab some tissue onto the pads in the jar it to soak up excess oil then use the tissue on my eyes instead of the pad!
-You have to wipe up the excess oil with a tissue once you've used the pad.
-If you're washing your face after, the oils from the makeup remover will spread all over your face.
overall
not something i'd ever buy again.
