I was pretty startled when I took a sniff of the food (since I do that as part of my reviews) and found it reminded me of the Iams Salmon food I recently reviewed, in terms of how fishy it smelled!

that smells like fish? You should have put a sign on it for the cats that said "chicken". Then perhaps there would have been more interest?

Thanks, glad you found the review helpful.
My cats sometimes like something I object to (in which case we compromise, they may get it on rare occasion), but they can't really complain...since I'm in the pet products business, they get to try lots of new products I consider carrying, or new toys I'm testing, etc. :)

I'm sorry your tom passed away, I'm no good at dealing with the loss of one of my furry fellows.
I always say at the end of one of my cat food reviews, to go ahead and try it, since one never knows what will turn on a cats fancy :)
