*sigh* Please read my original comment. It says to give it your best shot even if you aren't able to be technical. Your review is not technical at all. Hence the baby wipes analogy--do your best given your level of expertise. In no way did I say your review was TOO technical.
I do apologize for hurting your feelings. If you would indulge me for a moment, please understand that the electronics section gets bombarded with NH and SH reviews--most due to either blatant abuse or complete lack of effort. Some reviews don't demonstrate that the reviewer has ever tried the product--let alone have any real experience with it.
That was my suspicion when I read your review. It appeared to me that you added to the review just to meet minimum length standards. I may be mistaken, and if I am, the review should be edited to rule out such doubts.
No hard feelings to you. If you decide to edit this review, I'll delete my comments and re-rate. Email me if you would like to privately discuss this further.

If you read the review, I state that the receiver produces great 5.1 surround for watching movies!
It also retains (remembers) the speaker settings for whatever source (component) you select!
It's all there in black in white....

Take a chill pill Wade! This website asks for my opinion and review on a product. I didn't feel as though I was writing anything to contradict what other reviewers had written about this particular receiver! I'm simply stating MY opinion. I'm somewhat offended by your creative way of implying that I was too technical about the review. sorrrrrrrry! but there are some people in the world that are a little more technically savy when it comes to electronic componentry. (i.e., audio equipment) and this is the arena in which I addressed my review. I thought this would be interesting information for people who are seeking good quality (2 channel)audio sound from a 5.1 surround receiver. If someone were to have listed a review similar to mine, I would have given it a second thought before actually purchasing the receiver! Sorry if my review doesn't equal the importance of BABY WIPES!!!!!

that your review was written in 3 segments, and that you added segments 2 and 3 simply to gain enough length or write "just enough" to garnish some better ratings. That is not how Epinions works.
When you write a review, put your best foot forward on the first try! That counts for a lot with everybody! For example, I don't hesitate to give a VH rating to a camera review that falls far short of what Howard_Creech would write. As long as the author demonstrates that he has a factual basis for his opinion and writes as thorough as a review as possible, given the author's level of expertise in camera's generally--great! I love that! I love it when a stay at home mom with no electronics experience whatsoever tells me about her home theater system using terms like "thingy" and "gadget." Her review will be Very Helpful because it is genuine and demonstrates the user-friendliness of the product. I once wrote a Baby Wipe review and everyone gave me a lot of slack. Why? Because I did my best given the fact that I was a new dad and appreciated the product and its usefulness. I didn't really address the "usual" criteria for baby wipes, but I did my best.
If I were you, I'd start from scratch on this review. Just yank it and write it over. Tell us what you think of it and why the world should or shouldn't buy it! Regardless of how many technical terms you know or don't know, your honest effort will be rewarded!
