Pros: Great Receiver for the Money. Full Featured, w/ remote.

The Bottom Line: Hey, If you want a good receiver for an excellent price buy this unit. The 7106 is the same unit but more power.

I bought one of these to replace a high priced 5:1 Dolby this and DTS that receiver. I wanted something inexpensive, with some power, a remote, and standard capabilities (CD,AM/FM, DVD, Video, Tape).
This unit is perfect for what I was looking for. Easy to setup, provides some punch, Dolby Simulated is great. I'm really getting into collecting DVD Concerts. I have Polk Audio speakers with an Acoustic Research center speaker. This unit met and exceeded all of my expectations for only $149.00 w/ free shipping and no tax.
Some key features are: DIM (Day, Night, Off) setting for LCD display, limited but useful equalizer, full function remote, simple non-complicated design.
I had this unit completely hooked up and working in about 15 minutes. I had the remote programmed with radio stations in another 5 minutes and played with all of the other features until I figured them out for another 15 minutes.
