I was browsing through my local office supply store when I found this neat Post-It Flag Pod Dispenser. I couldn't resist this way to keep my Post-It Flags organized in a space-saving way.
Description
This dispenser is shaped like a 3-sided rocket with a flat top. It measures 3 1/4" high x 2 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" deep. Each of the three sides has a slot half-way up where Post-It Flags poke out for "plucking". The dispenser is available in two color combinations: 1) bright blue and white, 2) bright orange and white.
When the dispenser is turned upside-down, you will see it is hollow. This makes the dispenser lightweight. To fill the dispenser, hold the white area with one hand and the colored area with the other hand, and pull the two sections apart. The Post-It Flags come in cardboard/plastic packs that slide into each of the three pockets in the dispenser.
My dispenser came with one 50-pack of flags (1" wide), and 70 rectangular flags (1/2" wide), and 48 arrow flags (1/2" wide). The dispenser is refillable.
My Experiences
This Post-It Pod Dispenser is a handy little organizer. It holds either 1" or 1/2" flags. My dispenser currently has one slot filled with yellow 1" flags, another slot with two of the 1/2" rectangular flags: yellow and green … and the third slot is holding two of the 1/2" arrow flags in blue and red.
The flags are easy to insert into the dispenser, and are also simple to pull from the slots. The flags pull from the dispenser like tissues pull from a box. The slots are designed to always have the edges of the flags hanging slightly over the edge for easy grabbing. The dispenser is a clever design: practical as well space-saving.
Since this dispenser is not weighted, it is very portable. The downside to this is that without a weighted base, the dispenser can slide on whatever surface it is resting upon. Normally this does not cause a problem. This dispenser has tumbled onto a carpeted floor and has not broken. The two halves of the dispenser easily slide together, but just holding the dispenser from the top does not cause the two halves to separate.
Best yet, when the dispenser is empty of one or more types of Post-It Flags, I can purchase refills. If I wanted, I could have three colors of the 1" flags, one color in each of the three slots … or I could have a mixture of the 1/2" wide flags in varying colors and styles. The dispenser is very customizable.

Summary
This Post-It Flag Pod Dispenser is a great way for me to keep my Post-It Flags organized. I like it that the flags are in one place, and that the dispenser is refillable. My only complaint is that I need two hands to pull out the flags. Since the base is not weighted, it does not stay still while a flag is pulled free. I need to hold the dispenser in one hand while pulling the flag out with the other hand.
