I ordered a Nesco 6 quart oven roaster; it was described as a 600 watt made in USA model and the gallery picture showed the USA made version. What I received was the model that was made in China.
The product arrived about 10 days after ordering. The product container had a hole in it and had been shipped in an undamaged larger card board carton that contained no packaging material what so ever.
My inquiry and request for a RMA was never answered.
Without a doubt this is the worst online retailer I have ever dealt with.

A HORRIBE EXPERIENCE beware before making a purchase!

I have tried numerous times to speak to someone from this company. I ordered an item many days before the holidays. Now I am told it is on back order. All I want to do is cancel the order because it will do me no good now. It isn't happening! All they say is the order is on "backorder" nobody will communicate with me! I have tried leaving messages on a phone and sent numerous emails. FORGET IT!!! I will NEVER deal with them again!!!!! I do not know how to go about getting a response to confirm that I would like to have my order cancelled! Although the prices are great, the rest of the website leaves a whole lot to be desired.

Well, looks like I have been duped like everyone else. ikitchen will not respond to any of my emails regarding an order status update. They were quick to charge my credit card (first business day), and my order is in limbo. No confirmation or tracking info....nothing, nada, zilch!!!!! The item, Cuisinart stainless steel 17 piece cookware set is a X-Mas gift, maybe I'll get it in time for X-Mas 2009, certainly not this year. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST ONLINE RETAILER EVER and I buy alot of stuff online. I'll stick with the old faithfulls like Amazon. May have to spend a few more bucks but well worth it.

QUESTIONABLE RETAILER

My experience with iKitchen is far less than acceptable. They do not follow their own company policies. They have very limited contact access, which the do not acknowledge unless they are threatened. They do not offer additional assistance with refunds that may be required by credit card companies. Overall, this company, in my opinion is borderline fraudulent and absolutely lacking in any type of integrity. If you check the Reseller Rating website you will find more on this stores integrity and practices. IF you enjoy being FRUSTRATED, NERVOUS (remember they have your information), and generally IGNORED after placing your online orders along with weeks of practicing patience, I strongly recommend this store.

Buyer beware - good luck ever getting your item or a refund

I ordered a coffee maker. It took them no time at all to charge me even though they did not have the item in stock.
It took over 3 weeks (and several inquiries) before I had any communication what so ever from them. Finally I get an email saying - sorry we expect them "shortly". I replied fine "cancel it and please confirm it has been cancelled." Weeks go by again and I make several attempts to contact them to no avail. I finally get a response to my email saying - ok we will cancel it and refund your credit card.
Now it is a month later and I stil have not received a refund. Again - no response to emails, no one answers the phone. My next stop is to challenge the charge with my credit card company and let them go after ikitchen for the refund.

Waited 20 days- No tracking number provided, no return e-mail, phones are disconnected! iKitchen should NOT be trusted!! Paypal should not do business with such a disreputable company. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for on-line kitchen equipment purchases. This is also the first time I got burned. Most of my purchases through Amazon, JR computers/appliances, etc ... are always timely and HONEST. One more thing- I did a very brief search to see if iKitchen was a REAL site. Most results came up favorable?!? WRONG- they are: THE WORST! Avoid this internet seller at all costs.

A terrible rip-off. No product, no service, no refund.

I ordered from iKitchen and never received an update on the order status. After two weeks I emailed them and the response was "by the end of this week or early next week". I received the same response 3 weeks later when I emailed them again. Finally, 60 days after my credit card was billed, I cancelled the order. I emailed them and was told a 4 days later that the refund had been issued. Still no credit to my account. I intend to sue them for a refund and expenses to fly to Brooklyn if they do not respond. If anyone knows a real name of anybody that works there, post it here. I don't know if their president, David Balas, even exists.

One of the worst web merchants I've dealt with. Sent me a refurbished coffee maker, and the wrong model to boot, while advertising a new model. As well, very poor tracking options for my order and a slow delivery. This is a merchant to avoid.

The most unreliable, irresponsible e-seller!

I thought that I would be patient enough in case of delivery delays while buying on line. But iKitchen has put my patience to the limit. I placed an order back in May 07 for a wide slot toaster, which are hard to find these days. iKitchen promised to send the toaster within 14 days or so. After a month of waiting I emailed my order status inquiry. Just to send the tracer through their website was cumbersome, which added to my frustration. After four days I received an email response explaining that the delay was an exception, to please wait. At the end of July I sent them another email cancelling my order. No response. On the last week of August I received the toaster which I am holding, waiting for their email authorization to return it. Of course, I only have 14 days to return the item, my credit card has been charged, and I cannot return this unwanted without their authorization. Don't forget: there's a restocking fee of 15%! In the box there's a coupon worth 10% towards my next purchase, which will probably happen in my next life.

Just received a Panasonic electric shaver. It didn't come in the manufacturer's box AND it's USED!! There's little micro hairs all over the shaver. I'm in complete shock. I wish I had seen this site and read the iKitchen reviews before buying. I feel so naive.

Unethical, unprofessional or simply incompetent?

Backordered. No contact over 5 weeks. Quick to take my money and completely negligent in following their own stated "policy" on backordered purchases.
Like everybody else here, I do not expect to see either my purchase or my money again. After many years of internet transactions, this is the first outright fraud I have encountered.
It begs the question . . . is *everything* they sell "backordered" ? Since they do not offer refunds, this outfit may be entirely a criminal operation.
If anyone has found a way to direct legal scrutiny on these thieves, please post it here.
