I have ordered product twice from this company, because the prices were great. However, subsequent to this I started receiving a lot of spam to an address that I supplied only to them. I wonder if that's how they keep their prices low -- by selling customer addresses.

The third day I carry on with them negotiations through a forum in occasion of cost of delivery of the equipment to Moscow, I tell them that at me not so I'm not good with English language, I ask to name the final price of two pioneers200+delivery, of the answer receive references to their site to page of the help where in particular I a little that I understand in terms and methods of delivery!!!! Has then asked to explain then my theme was safely deleted from a forum! ((((

Well the price was right, but the customer service STINKS. It seems that the majority of people are pleased, but if you do have a problem, you're gonna pay more than if you would have gone with Musician's friend or other Big Store to begin with.
I received a broken product and paid the extra $10 to get it "rushed processed" Well it was rushed for nothing. I contacted the website and received an impersonal reply with "review our policy." I only asked for a $10.00 refund for a feature of convenience that was far from it. The amount of money he makes you would think $10.00 would be an easy compromise. Imagine if it was more than that!?! It seems to me his lack for a phone line is for a reason. He claims its to save you money, but is it?
Go with another store, and pay an extra few bucks. I wish I did.

Frauds. Product sent not as described on web site, and they charged me shipping both ways AND a 20% restock fee. I purchased from them based on the product description on their web site but somehow it's my fault that their description is inaccurate? And I have to pay for it? They are assholes and do not accept responsibility for their own errors. I will never shop there again, and you won't either if you care about customer service after the sale.

Easily the worst online retailer I've ever purchased from. Equipment shows up defective, and the kicker was that they "CLAIM" that you get a factory warranty.... but the fact is, you have to work through them, and not the manufacturer. this means that you can't get any service or replacements through local dealers.... Have fun shipping back equipment to the distributor, who won't pay for shipping to return it.
Don't bother complaining to them. They don't care. They will sarcastically respond to you like a child. If you even think of complaining on the DJ Deals forum, the will deactivate your account and ban you IP range...
Why do you think they don't provide you with a phone number? Because people like me and everyone else who got screwed over by this 2 bit operation would call and complain. but those who are resourceful can find their number:

I had ordered a pair (2) of Stanton AL500-II cartridges, and a Numark mixer. I chose free shipping, so i expected delivery to be slow. I received my order in about 8 days from time of order. I came home to find the box just sitting right on my doorstep out in the open. I had opened the box to find my mixer there with one Stanton AL500-II Cartridge package taped to the bottom of the Numark mixer box. They only shipped one cartridge to me, so I called and they wouldn't take my calls. I had e-mailed them with my order number and asked for a receipt (because they never gave or sent one out when I ordered it online), but they never replied to my e-mail. No receipt, didn't ship all items ordered, poor customer service.
Beware of any company that does not provide a telephone number for customer support. This is because their client service is non-existent. The first product I bought from them was damaged, and when I decided to give them another chance with a second order, they shipped me the wrong item, then refused to pay for me to ship it back to them. In fact, their response was "that rarely happens". They DO NOT ship the items themselves -- they order your products from the manufacturer, and the product is shipped directly to you from there. They are rude and unhelpful, and I would not recommend ordering from them.

I had purchased a very expensive pair of Ultrasone headphones, when they got in the Package was destroyed. I called DJDEALS but they would not help me in the matter. They had me take it up with UPS... I have bought many things online and the issues I've had with shipping were ALWAYS taken care of by the seller. In this case the seller through me under the wheel and made me take care of the things myself. Very POOR customer sevice

I placed an order and found out later they didn't had some of the items I ordered, then I asked If they could meet a delivery date, but my order arrived late, they don't take responsibility for their own errors, the worst customer service I have found so far.

This is one of the wirst online shops ever. They claim all orders are overseen by the president. WOW... There is only one person there as fas as I know that does everything: Being a president, janitor, shipping, receiving. It took over two months for me to receive my refund, like the other customer mentioned, I kept being directed to the help page. They don't have nothing in stock and all deal with drop shippers. This store is all bogus, so is the supposed "president".
Awful customer service. I purchased an item that was assembled incorrectly and asked what they planned to do about it. They immediately stated I should contat the manufacturer of the item and seek to return it for warranty service rather then offering to take the item back (IT WAS THE SAME DAY I RECIEVED IT) -- For all I know they could have intentionally sent me a broken item. Here is an exact unmodified quote from an email that customer service sent me:
After I stated I was unhappy that they just wanted me to contact stanton, rather then sending me a new item they said:
"Oh, well we will tell Stanton they shouldn't assist you then, since you don't want their help"

Ordered a preamp unit on 2.6.09. DJ Deals charged my card for $149 instantly. Still had not shipped it out when I checked again in the evening of 2.12.09. That would be six days. Found another place to order from that shipped it out in a timely manner. Cancelled my order with DJ Deals on 2.12.09. Shows my account will be refunded for $139 leaving me with a wait for a while and not get anything charge of $10.00. Wondering when I will eventually get my money refunded minus my $10. I shall spread the word accordingly to everyone I know, various recording forums I am a part of, and sites like this. Shady.
Waited for three weeks to get my order, no one to call, no one contacted me, items never shipped, but they got 3 weeks of interest on my money. would only recomend these guys if you don't mind waiting for a month to recieve your items. Finally had to cancel my order. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Unacceptable Practices:
(1) DJ Deals did not inform me that they were out of stock until the day after the order was placed and payment information taken.
(2) The DJ Deals website did not appear to contain "account" links for monitoring purchases, requesting cancellations, or tracking shipments.
(3) The DJ Deals website did not appear to explicitly provide an email address for cancelling or following up on orders.
I suspect that some or all of the above practices may be considered deceptive or unfair practices in trade by the Federal Trade Commission and/or by state attorney general's offices.
On the plus side, when I replied to DJ Deal's "out of stock" email requesting that the order be cancelled, I promptly received an email indicating that the order had been deleted.
DJ Deals' "out of stock" email stated that the manufacturer was out of stock for at least a month and that other vendors would probably also not be able to supply the product in question until then. However, it only took a few minutes to find another vendor with the product in stock (J&R). I purchased it from them and received it a few days later. Read more

These guys were amazing! Not only did they offer the product(s) I wanted at a great price, but they were so friendly and helpful as well. I live far away and depend on the internet for purchases...these guys had everything arranged so that when I returned home, my order was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It was so nice to get home, open my boxes, and get straight into my music vibe! Before you shop ANYWHERE else, make sure you check DJdeals out first!

When I dealt with them, the merchant had now way to contact them other than email and voicemail - they would only reply by email. If you have customer service issues you will not talk to a person. Read more
