Any positive reviews must be posted by someone associated with WineChateau.com (notice how short the positive reviews are?). The truth is that the people at WineChateau.com are either incompetent or crooks. My experience was the same as most of these people. I didn't receive my wine and they have ignored my phone calls and emails. I finally contacted my credit card company.

Ordered some hard alcohol, when i received it i tasted it, it tasted like it was impure. I vomited immediately after tasting. seemed like it had gasoline, or rubbing alcohol in it. I called the store, and waited for 10 mins before my call was answered. I spoke with someone who then passed me over to the manager. The manager was extremely rude, and argued with me every step of the way. he told me that they are simply the "middle man" which is ridiculous. It was not worth sending it back. I have stopped payment on my credit card. I will never shop with this company ever again. I found another webstie that i have purchased from twice, they are very sweet and very easy to get a hold of. wittyswine.com everything is straight forward with them. It says right on the website if the item is out of stock, so there's no guessing.

My husband and I ordered several bottles of wine back in December from WineChateau.com. We paid extra to have it delivered in two business days and it is now February 1st, 2007 and we still have not received our order. We have contacted them several times, and each time they tell us that the wine is on it's way. We are so displeased with this company and demand to have our money back!

I ordered a case of wine 2 weeks ago and got the wine at my door within 3 days. The wine was exactly as described. Last week I was looking for a specific wine and I called them on the phone. They helped me find the wine I wanted and again got the wine to me in less then 4 days. I think I am a shopper for life now, love their prices and service. Thanks Winechateau.

They say they guarantee their wines, but you only have 30 days to complain. I have a large cellar and don't always get thye chance to taste my wines that quickly. When I told them I was unhappy with my purchase, the woman on the phone said "too bad". When I emailed my complaint, they offer 20% off shipping on my next order. I won't do business with them again.

I ordered 10 bottles of wine, they called to say they didn't have two of them and would I like them to give me a Vintage Substitution? I said no and they canceled my entire order but not right away, they waited a few days and then informed me via email, I was so shocked! I emailed them to ask why and they eventually called me back, they asked me again if I wanted a Vintage Substitution so I said, "okay" and they then sent out the order. I got the order after 2.5 weeks of the original order date, one substitute wine was very watery, the other was just okay. Two of the other wines were corked (had cork taint), and when I emailed them to let them know they said they would send out a return label via email. I have not received it (it has been 2 weeks now) and  I have emailed them several times and I have not heard from them again.
