Pros: Price, Quality, User Friendly, Small Footprint. A WINNER! Cons: None, Happens to be a great machine!
Having owned a Phaser 550 prior that was constantly jamnming, I decided it was time to replace that work horse. Nothing bad to say about that machine, it gave me lots of great production, but no way was I about to dump another $3k on a printer. After ...
Pros: Very good quality, fast photo and text prints on plain paper, low running costs. Cons: Larger and more expensive to purchase than an inkjet, noisy fan.

Stylus C82 failed recently after only a year, I couldn't find a replacement that used the same ink cartridges and so went looking for alternatives. Colour lasers have at last become ...
Pros: This printer delivers in speed, color, quality and cost. Cons: The setup software can be trouble.
First off, the setup was not as smooth as it could have been but that HAS to be the only negative thing I have to say about this machine so far. I run a short-run CDR duplication service where I print CD labels, CD inserts, promotional materials (promo ...
Pros: Great color, for the price. Nice to have parallel plus USB. Cons: Lazy coding used in status application, slow cold boot.
I sell many of the 2300DL printers for my clients. While they might eat toner a little faster than expected, their output is solid and very acceptable to most, even at the 600x600 setting. It's hard to notice the difference when doubling the toner output ...
Pros: Great quality, easy setup, small footprint, easy to use Cons: Comes with "starter" cartdrige, sometimes folds little lines into envelope
Minolta's marketing speak says on their website "you get what you pay for" and I can only interpret this as a pun because I would have to disagree. The small price tag is in no relation to the surprisingly good output quality and overall user experience. ...
Pros: Crisp text, accurate color match, fast follow-up pages, great price Cons: Driver installation, print monitor, first page output time too long
After running to Kinko's twice a week for over a year, I wanted to add a color laser printer to my small office without killing my budget. Minolta's 2300W fits on a desk, prints via USB or parallel port and operates in relative silence compared to ...
Pros: WOW, a color laser printer for $415 Cons: For this price, I have only good things to say
I recently started up my own consulting business. Since money is tight, I decided to get letterhead made up (for daily letters and use a local copy center to print out color printouts of my reports. After finding the letterhead would cost $350 for 500 ...
Pros: It prints great pictures and is easy to start up. Cons: Software seems to be lacking greatly, poor physical design, bulky
This printer did not support the fonts (letters or characters) in my Peachtree program. When printing in Peachtree the characters were so small on the inserted information, you could not hardly read it. When printing from on line, it always ran an extra ...
Pros: Cost (no tax and no shipping charge through Amazon). Helpful tech support. Cons: None serious.
I unpacked my 2300W four hours ago. Set up was a snap -- until I turned the printer on. Everything connected through my APC unit flashed off and on; my computer itself rebooted repeatedly.
I called tech support. I was connected almost immediately to an advisor. He suggested plugging the printer directly into an AC outlet. That was all it took.
I've since printed several documents and compared them with the same pieces printed on an HP 2200c. The Minolta is vastly superior.
Aside from its bulk, my only complaint is the noise.
Pros: Color rendition. Cons: You need to find an economical source for color cartridges.
This printer is awesome. I was looking for an economical color laser printer (duh!) and saw this one on sale. It is unbelievable. It weighs about 80 pounds but after you set it up, it doesn't matter. Output time is about 8 pages per minute color (slightly faster than spec) and color rendition is superb considering this printer is not in-line (single pass) like the more expensive units, and each color drum adds toner from a rotating cylinder (slightly noisy when printing). However, quality compares superbly with hi-end laser color units, and the sleep mode addresses energy consumption and heat.
I really am surprised to see all these great reviews. I really don't like this printer. It has been nothing be trouble. It stops responding mid print, it refuses to warm up and the quality really isn't good. I have struggled with this printer for a year and now I am getting a Dell. It was a very bad investment.
