APC Back-UPS ES 350 (BE350U) UPS System

Pros: Power-line event protection at an attractive price.
Cons: May not have enough capacity for today's desktop computers.

Cons: Too little power for CPU + Monitor. Consider bigger or two units.

I have five of these (and three other APC UPS models) and they work like a charm. I use them on TVs ( my 19" TV stayed up for almost 20 minutes on the 350), printers, cordless phones, etc. Too weak for a CPU + Monitor so get two units to divide the duties or a bigger unit. The 350 is on sale at CompUsa, Office Max or the like for about $20 after report every few weeks making collecting these cheaper than buying a bigger unit. You can't go wrong with APC (and I don't work for the company)
