My Top 10 Albums Of All Time by mrisch | Sep 16 '00 How does one go about defining the top 10 albums of all time? Some alternatives: Roll of the dice, blindfolded pick, careful time consuming thought, Consumer Reports scientific testing, and listener choice. I didn't use any of these methods.

I fail to see how any album could come close to, yet beat out The Wall. Dave Matthews is not that great to begin with. I respect your opinion, but don't agree at all.

I like Jewel too, though I prefer her first album.

And I thought my CD collection was eclectic. I have a secret love for John Denver, and I listen to "Annie's Song" all the time. I take pride in mixing a little classical, a little hard rock, some "alternative" and even a little easy listening in my collection. Listening to the same type of music all the time would be like having the same meal, three times a day, for the rest of your life. Kudos on the variety!

It took me 3 days to write my top 10 albums. I had a list of criteria, but now that I think about it, blindfolded probably would have only taken a day! jo

Finally, someone who likes "Leavin' on a Jet Plane" and Annie Lennox. Don't suppose your runners-up included George Thoroughgood as well as ABBA?
Great review-
