Hi all,

I'm not sure if it's a full blown out Epinions bug, but Di and I have been having some problems with being able to add a couple of new cruises to the Epinions database over the past couple of weeks.

As it turned out, we found one of the topics already lurking in the database (so sorted it), but the other we can't currently add. I've alerted GG to the problem & asked him to let me know what he thinks.

I know we don't get too many cruise requests, and if you want one adding please still pass it through. Just be aware it might be a little while before we can add it.

I'll keep you posted when I get an update.

Garrett has got the Epinions engineers looking at the cruise suggest a product tool.

Anything new with this? I'm going on a cruise in a month on a ship not in the database and wanted to request it plenty in advance. Is the tool still out of commission?

I actually don't have any outstanding cruise SAP requests, so I can't check the tool on a regular basis.

However, I spoke with Di earlier in the week, and she has some which she still can't get "out of dock". I know she has been chasing up GG, but the engineers have been busy working on some issues in the software category, and also on the pictures that we add to SAP's. I imagine it's somewhere on their list of fixes!

If you pass some details of the cruise through, I'll check on progress...

Sorry no good news to report here. As Chris said I have about 7 SAPs for cruises in dry dock waiting for the problem to get fixed. If you have any requests just send them on.

Meanwhile have a life preserver!

Sorry, cruises have been blown out of the water for the moment :o(

I know Di has regularly asked for the SAP tool to be fixed, and we've even had word back that it had been sorted... only to find it doesn't work.

I'll ask GG for another update and an ETA.
