Part two of coping of death after murder

Apr 25 '00

This is part two of coping after a murder in a family. There is more to be said on coping.

His Mother a very loving mother has so much anger in her yet, it just keeps coming out no matter how hard she tries to keep it in. She said she needs to talk of him, but people find it to hard to listen. His Sister and three brothers are taking it so hard they cant stand to talk of it. This kind of death is so different from all other types of death.
His Birthday,Thanksgiving Christmas,Valentines day have passed since his death, he would have given cards, flowers and gifts to his Mom, these holidays are so hard to get past. As she says there is a big hole in her heart that wont go away. She knows in her heart that he would want the Family to get on with life. His Father my brother hides his emotions this is not a good thing to do, but many men do this, I only hope that he will be able to cope. They have sat weeks in court rooms and heard things so horrible that no loved one should ever hear.
They have all used up all their vacation time and more, they are now back to their jobs. I only hope that time heals.

IM sure you wonder why I don `t use his name I say (he ,him his) i`m doing it because the sentences of three of the killers are coming up next month, So I`m trying to be careful of what I say.

Now I want to say a bit about him.

He was a great guy, always ready to give a helping hand to anyone.
The Lady next door to his house says a nicer person you will never find. He always kept her grass cut, and her snow shoveled just because He knew she couldn't do it her self, she is 90 years old.
he was loved at work and now missed. They said he had it all in his head, and not in the computer, it was always ask Randy.
He worked for a clearing house where we send our refund offers to.
It seemed that half of the company was at his funeral. And they all told the Family what a great Guy he was, and how much they would all miss him at work.

We the family will for ever miss him. We will never forget him. We know in our hearts that he is in a safe place and one day we will see him again.
