Scrabble was a Christmas present for my wife last year. It was one of the best presents for the whole family.
When we were younger, we spent many hours playing Scrabble on the board and looking up words in the scrabble dictionary. This software really simplifies the game. Besides not having to use a dictionary, we are able to add a couple of opponents ranging from novice to master. This spices up the game and challenges both of us even more.
An additional feature of the game that I like is the "define" function. With this, you are able to get the definition of any word that is played on the board. Result - you are not just getting new words, you are building vocabulary.
If I were to remake the game, I would add a computer intelligence level that is equivelant to a child in grade school. My children enjoy playing the computer, but the younger ones have difficulty competing against the novice.
This is another one of those games that combines education and fun.
