Panasonic Viera TC-L32C12 32 in. TV
Great bedroom or small room TV
by jzorns
Pros: Good picture, sound, quality, and value
Cons: None
First, a bit of History - This is my fourth Panasonic TV. I've had nothing but good experiences with all of them. The first was a 1975 "portable" color TV that my grandpa gave me when he upgraded in the 1980s. It uses vacuum tubes and is ...

Very good...not perfect!
by homefndr
Pros: Great picture quality and no mechanical issues after 9 months of daily use.
Cons: Substandard sound quality from rear facing speakers.  Cheap feeling remote control.
I'm not an expert on the technical issues regarding flat panel TVs, but I did a little research on (not so technical) consumer issues before choosing the Philips 42PFL7403D TV.  Here's what I was concerned with when I made my decision to ...

Philips 42PFL3704 42 in. TV
Great picture per dollar spent. Simply thrilled.
by some_guy5
Pros: great picture, simple and effective menus.
Cons: skimpy remote control, others having quality problems.
While we have had a small LCD TV in our bedroom for a few years, I have resisted the urge to buy a larger one, until now.  One of the reasons I waited is because I already had a high definition TV, but the old one was a tube television and must have ...

Samsung PN50B560 50 in. HDTV TV
My Big Samsung 50 Inch!
by Trawma
Pros: Got a great deal, BIG, lovely picture, intuitive controls, sturdy stand.
Cons: Very heavy, anchoring system seems flimsy.
My husband has been hankerin’ for a flat panel/wide screen TV. Being, as I am, sickeningly frugal, I’ve been dragging my behind on the issue. A lot of “discussions” over size (do we NEED 50 inches?) and price (over a grand?). ...
